Ongoing collaborations

Essentially: whatever else we do

As we continue to write new scripts, develop fresh ideas and embark on more funding applications, we’re always turning something out.

We’ve got a proud history of producing boss DIY-cabaret style events at Birkenhead Arts Palace, where we’ve previously hosted Half-Halloween, Full-Halloween, and our Potato Milk Fundraiser.

We also support our artistic community members to produce their events, like Bea Albanese’s Daddy Issues. Marcy designed this poster for the event, and insisted we include it on our website because they think it’s dead good.

We’re always doing stuff yeno

As a company, we love to collaborate with other organisations. As individuals, we integrate Turning Worm, and it’s ethos into our other work, always aspiring to expand what we do and who we work with.

Here’s an overview of how our Joint-Artistic Directors do this:

Claire is a freelance artist and facilitator. One of their current projects involves mentoring the newest cohort of 20 Stories High’s Actors Lab. They also regularly collaborate with Roots and Wings, WoW Fest, and Unity Theatre. Claire is a Board Member at First Take, and Tmesis Theatre, giving them an insight into buisness management, funding, and project development.

Marcella is the Trainee Artistic Director at Together 2012 CIC. In this role, they are lerning the ropes of managing a funded company, and learning how to become an artistic leader. Marcella is also a Union 24 Artist - a development programme through which they are able to visit and learn from communities across the North. Through this programme, Marcella is developing their understanding of social change, and how they can integrate this into their work with Turning Worm.

Isaac works with organisations across Liverpool, including Bluecoat, Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse, and First Take. Accross his freelance work, Isaac is comitted to making connections, developing his skillset, and feeding everything that he learns into his practice, and local community.
